4 Islands in 8 days Day1 Day 2 We board a World War II tank landing craft at Dumaguete city on Negros Island, and take a 45 minute crossing to the island of Cebu. From there we take a winding coastal road up to a dive resort area known as Moalboal for lunch. After a good meal, we continue north to an easy off-road dual sport trail skirting around and overlooking a bay. We jump back on the main road for another 60 minute ride to Toledo, a ferry port, and a cool water break. Depart Toledo for what customers have told me is one of the best and most scenic rides over mountains and across the island of Cebu. You can feel the temperature drop 10-15 degrees as we ascend to the top. Amazing sights of the City of Cebu come into view as we descend down to the city where good times are sure to be had! Distance approx 220 km Day 4-5 Depart Bacolod on the morning ferry over to the city of Ilo Ilo located on the island of Aklan, from here we travel inland, through several small villages, on our way to the WORLD FAMOUS, Boracay Island, Enjoy two days exploring the world renowned Boracay beach! Take in a dive, para sail, jet-ski, or roam the endless beautiful white sand beach. Strolling barefoot, along the beach of Boracay Island, where the white sand is as fine as confectioner’s sugar and the water warm and inviting. Distance Approx 280KM Day 6 Taking a water taxi back to Panay Island, we remount the Kawasaki's and head back into the Nabas Hills along quiet back roads, paved and unpaved. It’s devoid of traffic and beautiful, with dense jungle creeping to the edge of the road and stretching to the distant hilltops. We pass through a small town where the locals are drying rice on thin mats placed on the paved road. On the western coast of Panay Island, the road runs along the fertile plain between the ocean and the inland mountain range. Small towns dot the coast and rice paddies and palm trees fill the plain in between. Steep foothills covered in grasses rise dramatically from the plain, and broad rivers sweep majestically from the mountains and continue to fan out until they reach the sea. South of San Jose, the road heads up and over the mountain. We call this section “Motard Mountain” and for good reason. The sinuous road clings to the folds of the mountain as it ascends, but is interrupted in places where the earth has moved or been washed away. Perfectly paved bends crumble without warning into dusty, rocky construction areas and reappear, whole again, within 50 yards. It is an unpredictable and exhilarating romp, a supreme test of bike and rider. One second you are leaned over hard, rear tire squirming for grip, and the next you are dropping off a 6-inch lip onto gravel and hard-pack. A smattering of houses crowd the edge of the road along this stretch, and their residents lounge outside, watching the impromptu parade of KLRs. Continuing on to the stop for the night IloIlo. Distance Approx 280km Take an early morning ferry ride across to Negros Island. From Bacolod we head south down the coastline to the sugar cane city of Kabankalan, heading over the mountain to view some amazing scenery and waterfall on our way back to Dumaguete Depart Dumaguete, Negros Island, taking with you the amazing ,wild, beautiful, and
